Sensory and Motor Assessments

Our highly-trained occupational therapists can provide comprehensive sensory and/or motor assessments to better understand your child or teen's unique needs and abilities. With their expertise, they will carefully evaluate and analyse various aspects of your child's sensory processing and motor skills, allowing them to develop a personalised treatment plan.

By offering a holistic approach, our occupational therapists aims to enhance your child's overall well-being and maximise their potential in everyday activities. Whether your child is experiencing challenges with sensory processing, fine motor skills, or coordination, our therapists are here to help guide them towards success and greater independence.

Speech and Language Assessments

Our dedicated speech pathologists are highly skilled in providing comprehensive speech and language assessments for children and teens. With their expertise, they thoroughly assess and evaluate the individual's communication abilities, identifying any areas of concern and developing tailored intervention plans. By utilising a variety of standardised tests, observations, and interviews, our speech pathologists gather valuable information to make accurate diagnoses and create targeted therapy strategies.

  • In order to receive an autism diagnostic assessment, we must receive a referral for your child or teen from a general practitioner, psychologist, psychiatrist, or pediatrician. We do not accept self-referrals.

  • Once you have arranged a referral, we will have an initial discussion with you to organise an assessment appointment for your child or teen. From there, the assessment appointment will be completed and a report will be provided.

Please note that, given the increased demand for this service, there is a significant delay between initial discussion and assessments, and between assessment and receipt of report. We appreciate your patience throughout the process.
